Let’s get onto the good music! Excited? Well let’s get to it!

The first band that we’ll cover comes from Atlanta, Georgia in the United States called ‘The Bastard Suns.’ An amazing band with many influences that are effused in their songs, it is quite thrilling to see a band do it so well. They say they sound like: “The Dropkick Murphys, Sublime & Rancid, all huddled together on the hood of a speeding locomotive.” They combine ska, punk, and reggae to create power driven masterpieces! This is evident in their song, “We’d Go For Broke (But we’re already there)” and we hope that you dig it!

The next band comes from Finland, it is the Valkyrians from Helsinki, Finland! From their website, they are considered to be the most successful ska-rocksteady group in Finland! This band has been around since 2002 and has definitely become a formidable force in Europe with their first CD being sold in three different European countries. “I Want To See Some Action” is off their latest CD, “The Beat of the Street” released in September 2009.

Last but certainly not least, Echo Movement is a reggae band based out of New Jersey. As stated in their bio, their inspiration comes from artists such as Bob Marley, The Police, and 311. Possessing a very roots-like feeling, “Maybe Something’s Wrong With Me” is off their latest album “In The Ocean” that was released in 2009.
